Current Position and Address (Effective 3/6/2018):

Cheryl Erwin (PhD 2002) was promoted to full professor with tenure at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine effective September 1, 2018. Dr. Erwin’s dissertation was “A Humanistic Evaluation of Expertise” which she completed under the direction of Dr. Bill Winslade.  Dr. Erwin is the Director of the Center for Ethics, Humanities and Spirituality at TTUHSC and the founder of the Medical Humanities Certificate Program for medical students.  She holds appointments in the School of Medicine and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
