Please join us on the 3rd floor of Old Red/Ashbel Smith Building (3.102) on Wednesday, April 18th from 11:30a-1:30pm for the IMH Dissertation Colloquium for Amerisa Waters. Amerisa will share her work through an art exhibit and interactive art-making space with a presentation of her research at noon.

Amerisa’s dissertation is a theoretical exploration of art as a social justice-based educational intervention for healthcare learners in the context of a student-run free clinic. Her art intervention is intended to help learners better understand and resist the "logic of letting go" that is pervasive in US healthcare.
